FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
These are ES-series specific questions, often asked in out forums. Many of these questions and answers may be applcable to many other devices such as BD + C/D/E-Series. However, the wiki pages for those devices already have some of these questions covered so here we will focus only on the ES-series.

What 3rd party USB WiFi dongles does my TV support?
According to this (Russian) thread, there are several that should work out-of-the-box. Others may need some form of hacking (usually of VID/PID).

The given adapters will work only on an E-set and only after changing the VID/PID to 04e8:2018.
If you intend to use a WiFi dongle on your TV, it is recommended to only buy those based on the Ralink rt5370/rt5372 chipset.

It is not clear of this writing which are compatible with the ES-series, apart that the IR ones are not supported.
